Here is a list of mythical creatures beginning with this letter and I am constantly gathering information from each continent and continually updating.
Abada (African)
In the Kongo language, Abada refers to a mythical animal similar to a unicorn. The Abada, however, has two crooked horns as opposed to a unicorn's single one. The Abada's horns can act as an antidote to poison and disease. It is one of the names given to a supposed unicorn living in Africa. Giovanni Cavazzi, when travelling in Portuguese Angola, heard about a creature similar to a horse but larger and having a head similar to a deer.
It had two horns, one on the forehead and another on the nose, both of them of great virtue. It must be noted that the word "abada" itself is an old Portuguese designation for a rhinoceros.
