Chromandi (Medieval Bestiary)
The Chromandae were a monkey-like Indian tribe with hairy bodies and teeth like dogs. The tribe's name might suggest a connection with the ancient kingdom of Mandi located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Chromandi are a race found in knightmare. They tend to be primitive and live in small camps. Chromandi live pretty much anywhere.
These mythical race of humanoids where said to live near France. They were covered in hair and had canine-like teeth. They were savages that would eat humans (foolish enough to attack them). They wore clothes like normal humans. First heard of around the 9th Century, they may have been a precursor to the Werewolf or Werepeople myths of the Region.
